Sealants

Teeth develop in different segments causing most teeth to have fissures, grooves and pits.  These areas of the teeth are the most common areas to get a cavity.  Food and plaque will get stuck in the grooves and tooth brush bristles are too large to brush them out.   A simple fix for this is the Dental Sealant.

We reccommend Dental Sealants on all children as they get their new molar teeth at both age 6 (first molars) and 12 (second molars)  Sealants involve cleaning the grooves of the teeth and then filling them with a flowable material to "seal" the grooves and protect from future decay.

The procedure is simple, safe and the teeth don't even need to be numb as there is no drill involved.
