COVID-19
UPDATE 11-16-20020 WE ARE ESSENTIAL! Back in March, the first Washington stay at home order included dentistry for the sole purpose of conserving much needed Personal Protective Equipment for hospitals. Over the past 8 months N-95 masks etc. have been mass produced so there is no need for dental and medical to put a hold on non-emergent services. We will continue to do everything possible to keep our patients safe and exceed guidelines from the American Dental Association and the Center for Disease Control.
Especially during this pandemic it continues to be important to care for your teeth and gums. Recent research indicates a connection between inflammation in the gums and serious or life threatening effects of COVID-19. http://www.mouthcovidconnection.com/
We at Kyle Gill Dentistry have always considered infection control to be a strong priority. With the onset of COVID-19 we have increased our safety protocols to include added PPE, increased wiping of all surfaces throughout the day, air purifiers to filter out small particles including viruses and much more. We will continue to monitor American Dental Association (ADA) as well as Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding dental offices. Whatever their recommendations are, know that we will exceed those with our protocols.
